September 18, 2005 Event
September 19, 2005, marks the first anniversary
of the death of Miracle, the Sacred White Buffalo. Miracle is the only white buffalo
calf born in recent times who fulfilled the manifestation of prophecies. Her birth carries a
powerful message to American Indian and all peoples on earth. If you are not
familiar with her story, please visit her official website: Miracle,
the Sacred White Buffalo.
On September 18, 2005, Dave and
Valerie Heider invite all to Janesville, Wisconsin, to honor Miracle and her
legacy. The Heiders, who were Miracle's caretakers, will open their farm all day for those
who wish to pay their respects to this sacred animal. Events and ceremonies are currently
being scheduled. These include:
possible women's sunrise ceremony;
An 11:00 am prayer ceremony by Chuck
Other prayer ceremonies and storytelling.
All schedules and events will
be posted here on this Native Village webpage when finalized.
Miracle's museum will be open
for you browse through, admire gifts left by many, (including the Dalai Lama), and to purchase
small gifts. Miracle is inside to greet you -- her physical body was saved from burial,
then mounted to be viewed for the seven generations to come.
If you attend the Janesville
events on Sunday, September 18, we welcome you and wish you a safe trip. Please help by
parking in the lot in front of the Heider's Farm. Also, seating is limited. Please
bring lawn chairs so you can sit and enjoy visiting with friends. More information, including
directions and phone numbers, is posted at the bottom of this page.
