Dear Friends,
             Hooray!  The 2007-2008 school year is winding down, and school is almost out. Students, parents, educators, and friends have driven ourselves crazy keeping up with the workload. Now that we're completely worn out, summer's  free days are literally a breath of fresh air.  It's time to  recoup, regroup, and just enjoy life.
            This summer's Native Village publishing schedule is listed below.  Now in our 8th year, Native  Village is a labor of love.  Thanks go to all NV  readers for your interest and support. Without you, I'd quit!
          Thanks also go to all the individuals, listserves, friends, educational institutions, graphic artists, and news services that freely share their knowledge and research with others. If you haven't scoured Indian Country on the Internet, give it a try. Generosity comes in many sizes, shapes, colors.
              In the meantime, feel free to browse the Native Village website.  We have hundreds of pages and thousands of links to keep you interested and entertained. And, as always, our website is free. 
              To all of you, have a wonderful safe summer. Spend time with family ... do good things for yourself ... become active in your community.  Use your vision and heart to guide you.  We are living in the generations prophesied to heal the world.  Together, people like you and I can do it!

Native Village summer schedule:

[Editor's Note: This summer, Native Village will be updating the Internet Youth Forum for The International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers. the international council of 13 indigenous grandmothers. It is an honor to serve our youth and the Grandmothers in this way.]
May's Native Village News publication is the last news edition this school year. The next News issue will be published in September, 2008.
Native Village will publish a Summer Opportunities edition in July to keep you updated on new opportunities and events. 
Native Village will publish June, July, and August updates listing special monthly highlights.
Frequent updates and postings will be made to the 13 Grandmothers area. Tune in!
