2011's U.S. INDIGENOUS GAMES Held in Milwaukee

Wisconsin: The US Indigenous Games (USIG) is the largest competitive event for Native youth across Indian Country. This year's USIG games were held from July 10-14 in Milwaukee, WI. Thousands of athletes participated in  individual and team competitions which were held in prominent sports locations in and around the city.

In addition to  sporting events, cultural activities were located near the city's downtown area. These included artwork, entertainment and spiritual activity among the athletes and attendees.

The U.S. Games take place every two years. Gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded to the winners:
