New Mexico: The Institute of American Indian Arts has established a dual credit plan with Albuquerque Public Schools, Native American Community Academy, Santa Fe Indian School and Santa Fe Public Schools.

Beginning this spring, students at these partner schools can earn high school and college credits tuition-free.

Located in Santa Fe, IAIA is one of four tribal colleges included in the state's dual credit program. The initiative extends academic opportunities for New Mexico's students.

Students will be able to choose IAIA offerings in studio arts, new media arts, indigenous studies, museum studies and creative writing.

Dual credit courses will be offered on-campus, online and at some high school locations.
