Sysco Corporation Awards $40,000 to American Indian College Fund for Scholarships

 
Denver, Colorado: Sysco Corporation has awarded the American Indian College Fund $40,000 for 40 scholarships totaling $1,000 each. The scholarships will provide financial resources so American Indian students can complete their college degrees and build a better life for themselves, their families, and their communities and nation. Winners will be announced this spring.

"The generosity of Sysco Corporation will enable 40 American Indian college students to pursue their dreams and help them make an impact in their communities," said Richard B. Williams, President and CEO of the American Indian College Fund. "By helping the American Indian College Fund to educate the mind and spirit, Sysco is making a difference in Native communities and our nation."
